About The Head Coach and Director
Coach Purificato has been a regular on the soccer fields of the city of New York for over four decades, from playing as a child and growing up in the Auburndale Soccer Club to playing at St. Francis Prep as a high school student. He has been a member of the coaching staff at St. Francis Prep since 1994 and has been the Head Coach and Program Director since 2001. Since that time, St. Francis Prep has gone on to become one of the best high school soccer programs in the NYC area. Over the past several years it has been Nationally Ranked both by the NSCAA and ESPN magazine.The highlights of his coaching career include a 2003 State Catholic School Championship and six Intersectional NYC Championship seasons in 2003, 2007, 2011,2013, 2020 and 2023.
